Great trailer for a very interesting documentary about the technology of Film and Digital Video. Hosted by Keanu Reeves asking question to Hollywood working filmmakers like; David Lynch, Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, and other industries filmmakers.
It also opens the discussion of 3D films… Hollywood Scam!
The documentary investigates the history, process and workflow of both digital and photochemical film creation. We show what artists and filmmakers have been able to accomplish with both film and digital and how their needs and innovations have helped push filmmaking in new directions. Interviews with directors, cinematographers, colorists, scientists, engineers and artists reveal their experiences and feelings about working with film and digital—where we are now, how we got here and what the future may bring.
This documentary should be in our must list watch!

WHO knows? Right now I’m debating between number one and number five. Just trying to brainstorm…but it’s so difficult to focus. Especially when I have my desktop sounding like an airplane flying over the Caribbean. That’s the sound that says-I need to get a better video card. I will try to come up with something better I really want to tackle the cinemaoutofyourbackpack.
